Magnetic North

Magnetic North is a character-driven story, which is fancy talk for “I have a plot. It’s there. I promise, I just have to get the characters there, that’s all.”

The story follows Steve, Jugs, and Roy through life after death, after broken promises, after break ups, and after high school as they try to survive in a town small enough that the cows have the right of way and events seem to gravitate around the totem pole in the center of town.

As for the title of “Magnetic North”, look up the Less than Jake song of the same name. Should shed a bit of light into the shadows.
