So, well, I guess we know what happened to the twins and which one’s missing.

The update schedule might be wonky next week; I’m starting my new job in earnest tomorrow, and only have one day off. And to give you an idea of how “wonky” everything’s going to get…a week ago I was working 6PM to 2AM. I’m now working 6AM to 2PM.

I’ll get a page to you guys, no worries. It just might be a half day late or something >.>

Hiatus over!

So there wasn’t an update for a month. In a nutshell, I found myself without a job and was panicking. I have a lot in student loans (culinary school is expensive, kids. Don’t let that deter you. But seriously, scholarships. They’re your friends) so being on unemployment wasn’t an option. There was more the hiatus than that, but it’s kinda personal and I don’t want to get into it.

But I have a new job now, and the personal stuff worked out, so the comic can continue! Hooray!

Also? Have a happy Valentine’s Day knowing I <3 you all, and I’ll see you all on the 19th.

I am as unhappy about this as you are.

I feel like I should elaborate upon what’s going on, but I’m not going to. It’s one of those personal life things, you know?

The important things of note are:
A) the comic is going to be on hiatus for two weeks. I’ll update with SOMETHING if I get a chance, but I likely won’t.
B) commissions are open again. I haven’t opened commissions in earnest in years (outside of donation things), but the money’d be nice now. I’ll get a price page up soon. Email me or message me on my tumblr if you’re interested now.
C) I still adore each and every one of my lurker readers even if I don’t know your names, and I’m not abandoning you. I just want to tell this story to the best of my ability and I can’t focus on that right now.

So yeah. Watch my twitter (haha, you’ll probably be able to tell exactly what’s going on here shut up self), watch the tumblr, and wish me luck.

So yeah, I missed Thursday’s update due to being in the dark and the cold and huddled under a mountain of blankets cursing the shoddy management company that wouldn’t fix my defective fire place. Which doubly sucked, since Wednesdays and Thursdays are my weekend and I tend to do all of my comic work on said days, which puts me behind, STILL.

Even worse? My computer climbed back into her deathbed last week. So I’m sharing a laptop with CM, who uses his computer for important things, like checking the news and paying bills and making sure SOPA isn’t poised with a big dildo over the intertubes yet.

So instead of taking time to put up real filler, I’m just going to leave you with an explanation and try to get this comic up by Monday night or Tuesday morning, and then get us back on schedule (which includes that extra page for Comic Creator’s for Freedom). Keep checking back in the meantime. If your power was out as well, I hope you got through it better than I did.
